Apart from being stupidly busy at work...i recently went on a trip to Europe...

I was fortunate enough to be hooked up by my wonderful friend Matt to go to the Download Festival @ Castle Donnington and the Metal Hammer Golden Gods @ the O2 in London...

needless to say it was one of the craziest adventures yet!!

Favourites at Download were: AC/DC, Cancer Bats, Taking Dawn, Steel Panther, Deftones, Motorhead, Rage Against the Machine, Airbourne, Cinderella, Rise to Remain, The Blackout, Slash, Stonesour and Aerosmith.

Met so many Amaaaaaazing people!!!

So on the weekend i had a little accident...well not me but my beloved crockery cupboard did....

the little pin holding up the shelf decided it couldn't handle the weight of the world anymore and plunged into the abyss leaving everything on the shelf to smash into a million pieces once the cupboard door was opened...my poor Mumma was the one to open the door and helplessly watch everything plunge to the ground.

My glory case full of crockery collected from all over the world and beautiful gifts from friends gone in the blink of an eye....

Anyway im now on the hunt for new stuff....

Sooo, the Melbourne Arts Centre has put on an AMAZING AC/DC Australia's Family Jewels memorabilia collection, it is absolutely choc full of goodness and has a mega section of all things Bon...as u can probably guess i have been a few times already!!

I love all the original costumes and letters, Angus and Bon were soo teeny tiny and what makes me weak at the knees is they have Bons actual leather jacket encased in glass shrine....the jacket is beautiful and i dont think ive ever wanted to try anything on so much in my life....the thing would actually fit me!!! anyway i must sigh and just make myself content by going back and staring at it longingly thru the glass.......

dont miss it its a sight to behold and whats even better the whole thing is FREE!!!

Went and saw a girlfriend in a real life Roller Derby match a few weekends ago.....i took my not too keen boyfriend along..it was way out in the burbs but what i never expected was so much fun...where else do you get to watch chicks dressed up in crazy shit on rollerskates knocking the crap out of each-other whilst having a lazy few boozers....i highly recommend it....oh yea and my mate Nine Lives Isis rocked the ass out of the other team..

Whilst visiting the Tip Rat in WAWA she organized me a little tour of various meaningful sites of Bon's life and death... it was an amazing day for me respect, sadness and adoration of someone who was taken from life way too soon.....

So this weekend i decided to spend down the coast....stupidly not realizing that The Community Cup was on in Melbourne.....

For those of you who dont have the skinny..... it is an annual charity Aussie Rules match between the Espy Rock Dogs and RRR / PBS Megahertz featuring lots of rockin artists, legends and identities from the Australian music industry all proceeds from the match go to the Sacred Heart Mission right in St Kilda.

Anyway the beloved Rock Dogs won their 8th Community Cup with Tim Rogers as captain....a goodtime was had by all....except for me cos I was down the coast...
